Prairie Creek
Prairie Creek
Prairie Creek runs parallel to Dedmon's Branch,
and separates the Homestead from Meadow Hill.
It's source is at the top of Jenkins Mountain, it
merges with Dedmon's Branch at the front of our
property, and south of our place it joins up with
Panther Creek and then into Lake Palestine. Prairie
Creek is lined with dogwoods, and has some most
excellent swingin' vines on the meadow side.
Plans for Prairie Creek include
-planting vines and ferns to help with erosion
-construction of a foot bridge from the Homestead
to Meadow Hill.
