   the Cavy Cabana
Designed by me, built by John Shaw, the Cavy Cabana should be
cool enough in summertime without a/c and warm enough in
wintertime without heat, easy to keep clean and just plain fun and
comfortable for me to work in.

When John was finished putting up the shell and screening, I asked
Ward "Do you think they'll like it?" and he looked at me
incredulously and replied "Who WOULDN'T?"

And in the shade of the sweetgum tree overlooking Prairie Creek, I
thought "Yep. Who wouldn't?"
the Barn
The barn (more like covered working pens) was designed to
allow for maximum air flow while providing ample cover for
protection from the rain and sun both.
There will be a section for hay storage, a section for a milk room
attached to the milking doe pen and 4 stalls connected to 4
paddocks.
the bridge
The bridge that connects the homesite to the meadow crosses
Prairie Creek- a crossing that up till recently was accomplished
by sliding down the steep bank on one side, hopping from rock
to rock across the creek and clamoring up the bank on the other
side.
Designed and built by Little Ronnie (Big Ronnie's son), this
has been one of the most delightful parts of our project.
Funny how the most simple things can bring the most joy.
